Pas d'en Adolf also known as Es Pas, Pas de s'Espalmador

Pas de n'Adolf, es Pas or Pas de s'Espalmador is situated at five kilometres from la Savina, between Punta des Trucadors and des Pas. Nudism is allowed.

If the weather is good you can walk on this sandy stretch covered by less than one metre of water, from Formentera to Illa de s'Espalmador (2,925 kilometres long, 800 metres large and 22 metres high; private property, but free access), the biggest island is situated between Pitiuses. If the weather is not so good you should reach it by a small boat because of the lack of depth in this strait.

Punta des Trucandors is the most northern place of Formentera and it has an orientation from north to south, a huge area, and it has sand and rocks, crystal clear water and a sandy ground. The beach is open to the winds from the southwest-west-northwest-north.
The channel located in the north of Punta des Trucadors is dangerous for navigation. In the south of the beach there is a depth of 2,5 metres at about four hectometres north from Illa des Pouet.

The accessibility by car is easy following the signs and the deviations. The private car, moped or bicycle can be left on a free parking area near Platja de ses Illetes. From her you have to walk to reach es Pas de n'Adolf.

These characteristics explain that the beach is very crowded by local visitors and tourists.

When the beach has a lifeguard service, you must follow the lifeguards? instructions and the warnings on flags. A red flag indicates dangerous swimming conditions and means that swimming is not permitted. A yellow flag indicates that precaution must be taken, but that swimming is permitted. A green flag indicates that swimming is permitted. An orange flag is used to indicate that the lifeguard is absent. Act cautiously when no lifeguard is present or the service is not available and enjoy the beach without taking any unnecessary risks.

For health and safety reasons, the municipal ordinances ban pets on beaches.
